Campus
The campus, which opened in 2014, sits on a 15-hectare property inside the flourishing community of NUVALI. It is covered by a 10-year development plan starting with the Basic Education. Currently, MC Nuvali features two buildings separately designed by two of the country’s top architects, Daniel Lichauco and Jose “Bong” Recio. These buildings house the student activity centers, covered court, library, multi-purpose hall, laboratories, dining facilities, and a chapel. Structures and spaces are designed to make them conducive to learning, making sure they are spacious and equipped with 21st century learning facilities.
Fifty percent of the land is left to open spaces, where children are free to play and interact. The campus is committed to keeping the campus environmentally sound and friendly by:
- Emphasizing on sustainability through an efficient program on the use of water and energy
- Implementing a waste management system
- Installing a drainage outfall so rain can be recycled for other uses
- Adapting a green architecture with ample acoustic, wind, and lighting provision for all structures
- Designing structures that are sensitive to the rolling terrain, vegetation, and views of the area
