Our Story
The story of Miriam College Alviera began as early as 2014, when Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) offered the school a 10-hectare property in its new and promising Alviera development in Porac, Pampanga. It was in the same year that the school had just successfully opened its second campus in the south, Miriam College Nuvali, which is located in another ALI-developed township–Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
“The idea of opening a third campus and bringing MC’s brand of education to families in the north through Miriam College Alviera is a great opportunity as it is a noble mission,” says Miriam College President, Amb. Laura Quiambao-Del Rosario, who is a native of Pampanga herself. The province, after all, is a thriving growth area with a first-class city, business and commercial establishments, two busy airports, and a freeport zone, among other developments.
What else can an institution like Miriam College offer if it expands here?
What Miriam College has always had to offer is quality education that addresses the holistic development of young boys and girls. It is the same kind of education that many parents and students from provinces like Pampanga go all the way to Manila for. It offers a kind of learning that is both relevant and rooted in Filipino and Asian traditions yet strives to produce global graduates who are ready to make a difference wherever they are planted. Miriam College Alviera intends to harness what is innately present in Pampanga as well as in its neighboring provinces—creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Transforming these attributes into promising careers that will impact the lives of others through our tailored programs is the difference we want to make for a new generation of students in this region.
