ADMISSIONS

Hello, future students and parents!

Miriam College Alviera is looking forward to building a new and exciting community with you in our second co-educational campus. ADMISSIONS

BASIC EDUCATION UNIT (NURSERY- GRADE 10)

Step 1A: Download and accomplish the following forms:
  1. Application form
  2. Student Health Record form
  3. Recommendation form from Class Adviser* and/or Guidance Counselor*

*To be placed in a sealed envelope and signed on the flap

Additional Forms/Documents to submit as needed:

  • (for Preschool applicants) Parent Questionnaire
  • (for non-Catholics) Waiver for Non-Catholics
  • (for applicable applicants) Assessment and Therapy History Form
  • (for applicants from Homeschooling program based abroad) Certification of accreditation of the Homeschooling Program
  • Photocopy of National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) results (for grades 10 and 11 applicants, if available)
Step 1B: Secure the following documents:
  1. Certified True Copy (CTC) of the following:
    • Most recent current level *report card (SY 2024-2025)
      • *PEPT Certificate for those coming from DepEd non-accredited schools
    • Previously completed grade level report card (SY 2023-2024)
  2. Original copy of the Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificate
  3. Clear copy of Baptismal Certificate (for Catholics)
  4. One (1) piece 2×2 recent colored ID picture
Step 1C: Additional documents for students who studied abroad:
  1. Original Transcript of Records with English translation and duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Establishment located at the student’s country of origin or legal residence
  2. Report cards should have the English translation for foreign students from a foreign school
  3. Certification from previous school indicating promotion to the next level
  4. Original and photocopy of updated Passport and Visa of parents and student
  5. Photocopy of Alien Certificate of Recognition / I-Card (present original for verification)
  6. BI Form 2014-02-005 Rev 0/CGAF Form (form provided by MCA)
  7. Certificate of Recognition as a Filipino if with dual citizenship
Step 2: Submit the complete requirements and pay the application fee
  1. Submit the complete accomplished forms and documents at the admissions window from Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.
  2. Wait for the admissions staff to review the documents and encode the application.
  3. Once encoded by the admissions staff, proceed to the cashier window for payment of the P500 non-refundable application fee.
Step 3: Confirm admissions test schedule
  1. Present receipt of payment to the admissions staff.
  2. For Kinder, assessment schedule will be given.
  3. For Grades 1 to 10, assessment schedule will be given.
Step 4: Come on time for the admissions test or assessment schedule.

Step 5: Release of decision letter

Anticipate within 10 working days from the date of test or assessment the decision letter to be sent via email, provided that the complete admission requirements have been submitted. 

Step 6: Settle the reservation fee

Settle the reservation fee on or before the deadline indicated in the decision letter to secure the slot until enrollment.

HIGHER EDUCATION UNIT

Step 1: Application Submission
Submit the following documents to admissions.alviera@mc.edu.ph:
  • Creative CV / Resume: Highlighting your educational background and extracurricular involvement.
  • Letter of Intent: A formal statement explaining your interest in the program and your future career goals.
Step 2: Online Interview

Applicants will be scheduled for an online interview conducted by the Department Chair and the College Dean.

Step 3: Receipt of Acceptance
Successful candidates will receive an Official Letter of Acceptance via email, followed by detailed enrollment instructions.
Step 4: Enrollment and Payment
To finalize your admission:
  • Submit Requirements: Provide the specific academic documents requested by the Admissions Office.
  • Settle Fees: Pay the reservation fee or initial tuition installment through authorized payment channels to secure your slot.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INCOMING 1ST YEAR STUDENTS:

  • Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate – to be uploaded in the Application Portal
  • Grade 11 Report Card – to be uploaded in the Application Portal
  • Recommendation Form from the Guidance Counselor (or from the Homeroom Adviser, if the Guidance Counselor is unavailable)

REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFEREES OR 2ND DEGREE STUDENTS:

  • Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate – to be uploaded in the Application Portal
  • Transcript of Records or Copy of Grades from the last school attended – to be uploaded in the Application Portal
  • Recommendation Form from the Guidance Counselor (or from the Homeroom Adviser, if the Guidance Counselor is unavailable)

REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS:

  • Birth Certificate – to be uploaded in the Application Portal
  • Passport’s Bio Page and Visa – to be uploaded in the Application Portal
  • Grade 11 Report Card – to be uploaded in the Application Portal
  • Recommendation Form from the Guidance Counselor (or from the Homeroom Adviser, if the Guidance Counselor is unavailable)
