The Collaborative Teacher-Assisted Classes at Home is an innovative online modality of learning offered by Miriam College for children in First Step until Grade 12. It is a response of Miriam College to the changing landscape in the Philippine educational environment that has opened itself up to the desire of parents or guardians to take a more personal and active role in the education of their children. This learning modality is available especially for students who reside in the provinces or abroad or those nursing an injury, undergoing therapy, etc. and cannot physically attend face-to-face classes regularly. Students who are part of the online sections meet their teachers via synchronous Google Meet sessions, while learning partners (parents/guardians) guide students through their lessons and tasks on the other days of the week when lessons are asynchronous.  COTEACH is open for both male and female students.

The Miriam College Grade School (MCGS)  curriculum will be implemented for COTEACH sections of First Step to Grade 6 while the Miriam College High School (MCHS) curriculum will be implemented in COTEACH sessions of Grades 7-12.  Both comply with the requirements of the national curriculum, including the programs and policies of  the Department of Education. 

Classes typically start on the last week of July & end on the last week of April. We observe Philippine holidays and school holidays. We have a 2-week Christmas break, a 1-week break for All Saints/All Souls, and a 1-week break for Holy Week.
