Global Relations and Partnerships Office

The Global Relations and Partnerships Office is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with international institutions, organizations, and partners to enhance the global presence and reputation of Miriam College. Its mission involves strategic planning, networking, and collaboration with various stakeholders to facilitate opportunities for international collaboration, student exchanges educational partnerships and other strategic linkages building initiatives through its three pillars: International Student Experience Program, Scholarships and Grants Management and Academe-Industry Partnerships.

The Global Relations and Partnerships Office is built upon three key pillars that drive its mission and initiatives: International Student Experience, Academe-Industry Linkage, and Scholarships and Grants Management.

  • The International Student Experience program provides support to enhance the experiences of international students at Miriam College. The program involves providing comprehensive support services, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and promoting a welcoming, safe, secure, and inclusive environment for international students so they will thrive academically, socially, and personally.

  • The pillar on Scholarship and Grants manages the entire lifecycle of scholarships and grants, from application and selection to disbursement and reporting to ensure fair and transparent processes, thereby maximizing funding opportunities and providing support to the educational goals of recipients. Through this pillar, actions are implemented to identify funding opportunities, cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, and mobilize resources to support educational initiatives.

  • The Academic-Industry Partnerships plays a key role in fostering collaborative relationships between academia and industry to promote innovation, research, and workforce development initiatives. This pillar involves identifying partnership opportunities, facilitating collaborations, and managing projects that leverage the expertise and resources of both sectors. It also serves as a liaison between academic institutions and industry partners to drive mutual benefits and advance shared goals.
