Internationalization at MC

On April 22, 2025, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and the Global Relations and Partnerships Office (GRPO) successfully held the second international student engagement activity for the academic year — a cultural tour of Marikina City.

The activity brought together five international students and ten student buddies from the Global Affairs and Diplomacy program. Together, they explored Marikina’s rich cultural and historical heritage, beginning at the Marikina Municipal Hall and visiting several of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

The Marikina City Tour provided international students with a deeper appreciation of Filipino culture and local history, while also fostering meaningful connections with their peers. The program emphasized community building, cultural immersion, and the strengthening of global friendships within the student body.
