On September 22, 2025, MC-WAGI joined the celebration of the 44th International Day of Peace led by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU).
As part of the “Galing Babae: Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Accelerators” launch, we are incredibly proud to share that the Miriam College – Women and Gender Institute (WAGI) has been named by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) as one of the top 10 accelerators in the Philippines for the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda.
This recognition fuels our commitment to advancing gender equality, empowering women leaders, and building sustainable peace in our communities. Thank you, OPAPRU, for this honor and for your steadfast partnership in this crucial mission.
We share this with all our partners, advocates, and the strong women on the ground who are the true architects of peace.
