WAGI in partnership with the Henry Sy, Sr. Innovation Center (HSSIC)/Technology Business Incubator (TBI), led the two-day Gender Responsive Training for WHWise: i B L E n D N I C E 4WomEn program of the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST PCIEERD).  

The first day focused on gender concepts, gender dimension of business, and transformative functions of business and entrepreneurial activities using gender lens. On the second day, a special workshop session was held for start-ups, focusing on the gender responsiveness of their respective businesses. The event took place on April 11-12, 2023, at the E-Lab, Henry Sy, Sr. Innovation Center, and was well attended by 15 representatives onsite and 2 representatives participating online. These attendees represented a diverse group, comprising seven (7) different women-led social enterprises.
