It is with great pride to announce that 5 of Miriam College – Women and Gender Institute – WAGI’s Gender and Development Training Programs are now Philippine Commission on Women certified! Receiving the award last December 6, 2022, were Dr. Melanie Reyes, WAGI Executive Director, and Prof. Aurora Javate De Dios, WAGI Senior Program Director.

The 5 programs awarded with certifications are the following:

1. Gender Fair Education

2. Gender, Peace, and Security

3. Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting

4. Gender, Sexuality, and Student Youth Wellbeing

5. International Women’s Human Rights and Governance

Individuals, government agencies, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and the private sector may join the training programs annually and/or request private training through wagi-ga@mc-knoller.edu.ph.
