There is something special about being part of a school community. It is where our children spend much of their day—learning, discovering, making friends, facing challenges, and slowly becoming the people they are meant to be.

At Miriam College Nuvali, we are grateful to be part of that journey.

We want our students to do well, but more than that, we want them to grow well. We want them to be curious and confident, but also kind and compassionate. We want them to ask questions, listen to others, stand up for what is right, and learn that their choices can make a difference in the lives of others.

These are lessons that go beyond the classroom. They are at the heart of a Miriam education and are grounded in the values that have guided us for generations—truth, justice, peace, and integrity of creation.

This is especially meaningful as we celebrate 100 years of Maryknoll/Miriam education. A hundred years is a wonderful milestone, but for me, it is also a reminder of the responsibility we carry. We have inherited a rich tradition, and it is now our turn to carry it forward—to make sure that a Miriam education continues to be relevant, meaningful, and responsive to the world our children are growing up in.

And while we take the work of education seriously, I also hope our students find joy here. I hope they look forward to coming to school, enjoy learning something new, form friendships that matter, and create memories they will carry with them long after they leave our classrooms.

To our parents and families, thank you for your trust. We know that educating a child is a shared journey, and we are grateful to walk that journey with you.
