Miriam College is a premier women's college in the Philippines. Founded in 1924, Miriam College offers programs at the basic, tertiary, post-graduate and adult education levels.

Mon Ritche Bacero

Mr. Bacero is an ICT teacher, E-Learning specialist and a Maker. He is knowledgeable in technology integration in the classroom, and had conducted workshops on mobile app development and gamification for teachers. In his free time, he builds robots, video games and 3D models.

Resty C. Collado, MST

STEAM Education

 

Mr. Collado is currently enrolled in the PhD Physics Education program of the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He is involved in researches related to gender gap in physics achievement, K-12 career tracking, and technology in physics education. He leads activities aimed at promoting STEAM and STEM careers to women.

Edizon Angeles Fermin specializes in innovative curriculum development, language education, multiliteracy, language planning and policy, e-learning, and educational leadership. A local and international teacher trainer and researcher, he has served in various capacities in national and regional agencies towards the formulation of programs and policies in basic education and teacher education.

Rosario O. Lapus, Ph.D.

Dr. Rosario O. Lapus is both an Educator and a specialist in Human Development – from early childhood to gerontology. After finishing her undergraduate degree in Manila, she has obtained various post graduate degrees and diplomas from prestigious international universities on both human development and education. She continues to serve the field of education as President of Miriam College, and Chairperson of the Consortium of Women’s Colleges in the Philippines, among others. Her personal interests include painting, swimming, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Celeste Joy O. Matias

Celeste is a part-time faculty of the MC Psychology Department, teaching Statistics. She is also a senior faculty of the Mathematics Department at the MC High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education, Major in Mathematics, Minor in Physics from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, and obtained her Master of Arts degree in Mathematics also from the same institution in 2009.

Ms. Paunan earned her Bachelor in Secondary Education from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and Masters in Education major in Measurement and Evaluation from Miriam College. She is passionate in driving 21st century teaching and learning by adopting and incorporating innovative approaches and current trends in education to her classroom teaching. She has been invited to share her expertise and experience in STEM Education, Test Construction, Teaching 21st Century Skills, and Educational Technology.
