Scholarships and Financial Aid

We are committed

Miriam College aims to make quality education accessible to all by providing scholarships and financial aid to deserving and talented students regardless of their socio-economic status.

Honor Scholarship

The Top 10% students of a graduating senior high school class 2025 with at least 100 students will be granted up to 100% discount on tuition fee. Scholarship grant will depend on the ranking of the student.

Submit the required documents on/before JULY 15, 2025 including the Certificate of Ranking issued by your school.

Financial Aid

This is open to all students with demonstrable financial need. Applicants should conform with the established criteria based on academic performance (admission score of at least 3.5), deportment, and demonstrable financial need.

Coverage:

Recommendation for discount percentage is based on the results of the evaluation of the Institutional Scholarship Committee

  • 100% or 50% tuition fee, basic fee and laboratory fees
  • 100% or 50% tuition fee only
  • 25% tuition fee only

Note: Transferees may apply for financial aid after 1 year of residency.  

Blue and Gold Scholarship

This is open to all incoming First Year students under the program of BS Sustainability and Environment and Bachelor in Early Childhood Education. The grant will cover 100%Tution Fee discount on your first year for ONE school year.

college athletics scholarship

2-Unit discount

Qualification: Given to placers in the athletic auditions for varsity players who are granted exemption from the payment of two units of Physical Education (PE) classes for first-year and sophomore students and a two-unit discount for students in the higher years with no PE classes. 

Coverage: 2-Unit discount 

Duration and Conditions of Grant: As long as the student-athlete is part of the competing team and attends their training regularly. 

Mythical Selection 

Qualification: Mythical players are chosen and awarded by the league organizers of the game.  Student-athletes who are part of the Mythical selection. 

Coverage: 25% Tuition Fee Discount (one semester after the game/ event)

Duration and Conditions of Grant: Applicable to the following semester after the student-athlete is awarded as the MVP of the game. 

Most Valuable Player with the highest CQPA 

Qualification: Student-athletes who received special awards such as Most Valuable Player, member of the Mythical Selection, from the tournament organizers, and anyone from among the champion team with the highest CQPA will be given a tuition fee discount. 

Coverage: Tuition fee discount of 100% (one semester after the game/ event) 

Duration and Conditions of Grant: Applicable to the following semester after the student-athlete is awarded as the MVP of the game.  

25% Tuition Fee discount per semester

Qualification: Given to 3 Student-athletes per team who were endorsed by their coach, screened and interviewed by the Athletics Coordinator, and approved by the Student Affairs Officer. Student-athletes should have no failing grades in any of their enrolled courses; they must maintain at least a CQPA of 3.0, should not have any major offense, and must regularly attend training and games, with established financial need.

Coverage: 25% Tuition Fee discount per semester 

Duration and Conditions of Grant: Renewable every semester.  Student-athletes will pass their application before the end of the current semester.

How to Apply

Scholarship application usually opens in January and you will be eligible to apply once accepted by the college.

Admission Score

Admission Score is computed based on the High School Average and the Creative Assessment.

In Miriam College, 5.0 is the highest possible grade and 1.0 is the lowest.
