Dr. Trixie is an educator and academic leader with more than 30 years of experience at Miriam College. She began her career in Early Childhood Education and has since expanded her work to higher education, curriculum development, authorship of books, and serving as a resource speaker on education-related topics. She holds a PhD in Educational Management from De La Salle Araneta University, a master’s degree in Family Life and Child Development from the University of the Philippines, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from the University of Liverpool.

Within Miriam College, she has served in various leadership roles, including Dean of the College of Education, Academic Dean of SASE, and Principal of the Child Study Center. Beyond the institution, she contributes to national education initiatives through CHED and other organizations, while also leading projects that support Indigenous Peoples, out-of-school youth, and daycare workers. A passionate teacher, mentor, and leader, Dr. Trixie is also a devoted wife to Reymund and loving mother to their son, Trey.
