SDG 15: Life on Land
Miriam College promotes biodiversity conservation and regenerative land use through field-based education, ecosystem restoration, and community partnerships. Recognized in 2009 as a Dark Green School by the Philippine Network of Educators on Environment, the Miriam College campus serves as a venue for nature-based learning through interactive programs for students. Community-led ecosystem restoration efforts are also conducted in collaboration with upland communities and local government units to restore degraded forest areas that support both livelihoods and biodiversity.Â
