SDG 5: Gender Equality
As one of the nation’s few dedicated women’s colleges, Miriam College upholds a long-standing and foundational commitment to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. This mission is woven into the fabric of the institution, shaping all academic programs, co‑curricular initiatives, and student support services. This agenda is driven by a robust gender mainstreaming infrastructure led by the Women and Gender Institute (WAGI). Complementing this, the Child Rights Advocacy Center (CRAC) champions safe, inclusive, and child-responsive policies, ensuring that student well-being and voices are at the heart of the community.
