Doctor of Education
This is a professional and practice-based doctoral degree program that aims to develop educational leaders who will provide transformative and dynamic leadership skills in responding to current issues, demands, needs, and problems on education in the Philippines and in a global context. The program is designed for educational experts who desire to design, implement, evaluate, and manage education programs.
The program has two specialization tracks:
- Curriculum and Teaching
- Counselor Education
Curriculum and Teaching
Graduates will possess a strong theoretical and practical knowledge on curriculum design, development, and evaluation, interpret and develop instructional designs and models related to various fields and areas in education and contribute to the development of an education system that is appropriate and relevant to the needs and context of the learners.
Counselor Education
Graduates will possess a strong theoretical knowledge on psychological perspectives on learning, counseling supervision, designing and development of mental health programs .
The program is designed as a residential, cohort and module-based mode. Students will finish the program in 24 months.
