Last Monday, August 11, 2025, marked the start of “Weaving Gender Sensitivity and Core Values into the Curriculum: Towards Inclusive and Reflective Education” with Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig!
This training is in collaboration with Pamantasang Lungsod ng Pasig and Miriam College – Women and Gender Institute, aimed to deepen understanding of gender principles and inclusive education, fostering a learning environment where everyone thrives. The first day focused on the following sessions:
Basic Gender and Development (GAD) Concepts with Ms. Therese Zabala, Project Coordinator of MC-WAGI Gender-Fair Inclusive Language with Prof. Stella Marquez, Faculty Associate of MC-WAGIWe were also honored by the presence of Pasig City’s Mayor Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Robert Dodot Jaworski Jr., Cong. Roman Romulo of the District of Pasig, and Councilor Simon Romulo Tantoco.
