MERIT SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY

Merit Scholarship (MS) (For Incoming First Year Students only)Applicant is among the top 10% of their high school graduating class, which consists of at least 100 students.Results are released after receiving the applicant’s batch ranking and grades.

SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS

Online submission: You may submit your complete requirements to heu_scholarships@mc.edu.ph

i. Please make sure to include in the subject the name of the scholarship you are applying for. (Sample format: FA Scholarship Application – Dela Cruz)

ii. Upload ALL the requirements in ONE (1) PDF, FOLLOWING THE SEQUENCE OF THE LIST OF REQUIREMENTS.

Financial Aid

Coverage

  • Tuition Fee, Basic Fee, and Laboratory Fee Discount

Qualifications for Incoming First Year Students

  • Applied in Miriam College Higher Education Unit and paid for the Admissions Application Fee
  • With good conduct; and
  • With Demonstrable Financial Need

Qualifications for Continuing Students

  • Must be a continuing student at Miriam College;
  • With an academic performance admission score or CQPA of at least 3.50 and with no grades of F (Failure), FA (Failure due to Absences), INC(Incomplete), D (Dropped), and NE (Never Entered);
  • With good conduct; and
  • With Demonstrable Financial Need

Requirements

  • Accomplished GRPO Scholarships Financial Aid Application form (attached the downloadable form)
  • Refer to the GRPO Scholarships Financial Aid Application form for the list of requirements

Responsibilities of the accepted grantees

  • Must maintain a CQPA of at least 3.5
  • Must comply with the required service hours
  • Must enroll a regular load per term
  • Must not shift to another program
  • Should not have any pending discipline case
  • Should participate actively in Talitha Cumi (student organization of the Miriam College Higher Education Unit scholars) activities and other college activities and
  • Encourage parent participation in the Higher Education Unit Family Council
Merit Scholarship

Top 10% of the Batch

Coverage

  • Discount on Tuition Fee

Eligibility

  • Must be an incoming first year student at Miriam College;
  • Must belong to the Top 10% of a Senior High School graduating batch with at least 100 graduating students

Requirements

  • Miriam College Acceptance Letter
  • Certificate of Ranking from previous school

Responsibilities of accepted grantees

  • Must maintain a CQPA of at least 4.30 or higher every term
  • Must enroll a regular load per term
  • Must not shift to another program
  • Should not have any pending discipline case
  • Should participate actively in Talitha Cumi (student organization of the Miriam College Higher Education Unit scholars) activities and other college activities and
  • Encourage parent participation in the Higher Education Unit Family Council
Athletics Scholarship

Screening and selection of enrolled Athletic Scholars shall be done by the Coaches after try outs.

Blue and Gold Scholarship

Benefits

  • 100% Discount on Tuition Fee for one school year

Qualifications

  • Must be an incoming first year student at Miriam College;
  • Applied to Bachelor of Science in Sustainability and Environment and Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (SY 2026-2027)

Requirements

  • Miriam College Acceptance Letter
  • Copy of Grade 11 Report Card from the previous school

Responsibilities of accepted grantees

  • Must maintain a CQPA of at least 3.5 or higher every term
  • Must enroll a regular load per term
