MASTER OF EDUCATION IN
Curriculum and Teaching with Specialization in 21st Century Learning
The Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching with specialization in 21st-Century Learning (MOE CAT) program is a graduate-level degree that focuses on teaching practices to prepare teachers for the fast-changing needs of tomorrow’s learners.
This program challenges education professionals to reexamine theories, structures, and practices in curriculum and instruction to plan and provide learning opportunities fit for a fast-paced, competitive, technology-driven society.
The program culminates in a capstone project that focuses on 21st–century principles applied in the student’s field of practice.
Program Outcomes
By the end of the program, graduates will be able to:

This program is implemented using a modular delivery mode and qualifies students to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers

Capstone Project: 6 units
Comprehensive Exam
Standard Completion Time: 14 months
The Special Project is practice-based and is accomplished as you take the different specialization courses. You are assigned to a mentor and an adviser (content and process specialists) who will closely supervise the process of project-making and writing of the paper.
Students who are not currently teaching will be immersed in partner schools.
