As part of Miriam College High School‘s (MCHS) commitment to develop competent, confident, and conscientious young women, the school provides opportunities through the Summer Overseas Attachment Program (SOAP) in Japan to develop students’ communicative skills, and provide authentic learning experiences for their appreciation and understanding of other cultures, specifically the Japanese culture, history, and language.
MCHS SOAP opens doors for Knollers to explore other academic programs, systems, and processes of another exclusive school for girls.
This June 8 to 17, 2025, 10 high school students and two teacher-chaperones went to Hakuho Girls’ High School in Yokohama, Japan for a school and cultural immersion.
