Miriam College Basic Education units were represented at the International Partnerships Week hosted by Camosun College in Victoria, BC, Canada, on June 2–5, 2025. Miriam College Grade School Principal Dr. Kristine Marie Lesaca-Saludez, Miriam College High School Principal Sofia Soledad De Guzman, Miriam College Skills Development and Technical Education Center Principal Amabelle Cariño, and Miriam College Nuvali Principal Christine Joy Corsiga joined other school heads from Japan, Wales, the Netherlands, Germany, and Canada. This Batch 2025 participated in various sessions where they shared best practices and educational frameworks to promote inclusivity, lifelong learning, intercultural competency, and collaboration in various learning contexts.
On June 7–18, 2025, 21 Miriam College High School (MCHS) students and three teacher-chaperones will come to Camosun College as part of the Summer Overseas Attachment Program (SOAP) of MCHS. They will join workshops on arts and design, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
These activities are anchored in the partnership agreement between MC and Camosun College, which includes joint degree programs.
