SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

Peace and Justice are core values institutionalized at Miriam College through the curricular integration of peace concepts and the advocacy for good governance. The Center for Peace Education (CPE) champions this mission through its “Whole School Approach,” pioneering peacebuilding across all aspects of school life. Complementing this, the Women and Gender Institute (WAGI) advances the “Women, Peace, and Security” agenda, ensuring that the pursuit of peace is inherently linked to justice, inclusion, and the vital role of women in building resilient societies.
