Periodically, the Vice President for Academic Affairs initiates and oversees the formulation of a Comprehensive Faculty Development Plan to ensure the continuous professional growth, competency enhancement, and academic leadership of faculty members across all units. This plan integrates institutional priorities, competency frameworks, and emerging educational trends, and serves as a guide for faculty development programs, training opportunities, and resource allocation.

The Growth, Upgrading, and Resource Office (GURO)Â is the office under the OVPAA of Miriam College tasked with advancing faculty growth and development. It plans, implements, and coordinates professional development programs, capacity-building initiatives, and resource support that enhance pedagogical competence, strengthen academic leadership, and uphold institutional excellence.
