Miriam College (MC) and Assumption College (AC) formalized a partnership to strengthen quality assurance initiatives through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 21, 2026. The MOU reflects both institutions’ commitment to educational excellence by promoting continuous improvement and the sharing of best practices.
As the only remaining women’s colleges in the Consortium of Women’s Colleges (CWC), MC and AC continue to carry forward the Consortium’s long-standing commitment to women’s education, making this collaboration especially meaningful. The MOU lays the foundation for a mentoring partnership that fosters mutual learning and contributes to the continued development of quality assurance in both institutions.
Present during the signing were Ms. Ana Lea Samin, Head of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Office of AC; Ms. Maria Louella Tampinco, Quality Assurance Director of MC; and Dr. Margarita Ladrido, Dean of the Higher Education Unit of AC.
