A proud moment for Miriam College High School as Sayawatha Jr (Sayawatha Dance Troupe) is among the five Filipino dance groups recognized under Senate Resolution No. 591, proposed by Senator Bam Aquino.
The resolution congratulates and commends Filipino dance crews for their outstanding achievements at the 2026 World Hip Hop Dance Championship held in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Representatives of Sayawatha, chaperoned by parents and teachers went to the Philippine Senate to receive this recognition on behalf of Sayawatha, honoring the dancers’ remarkable achievement of winning Bronze in the Junior Division.
This recognition celebrates the discipline, dedication, teamwork, and excellence that Sayawatha has demonstrated on the world stage.
We are deeply proud of our young dancers who continue to show that Filipino talent—and the talent of empowered young women—can shine anywhere in the world. 🌎🔥
Congratulations, Sayawatha! You have made Miriam College and the Philippines proud! 🇵🇭💙💛
