Makabata Helpline
A mechanism of the government that quickly responds, monitors, and gives feedback on the rights and protection of the children.
ANYONE CAN CALL THE HELPLINE TO REPORT ANY CONCERN OR VIOLATION OF CHILDREN’S RIGHTS VIA PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, OR OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.
What to report?
ANY INDIVIDUAL MAY CALL THE HELPLINE IF THEY SUSPECT THAT A CHILD IS BEING SUBJECTED TO ALL FORMS OF ABUSE, WHICH INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
1. PHYSICAL;
2. VERBAL;
3. SEXUAL;
4. PSYCHOLOGICAL OR EMOTIONAL; AND
5. ALL KINDS OF EXPLOITATION, NEGLECT AND DISCRIMINATION
PLEASE AVOID PRANK CALLS, so other people who have real concerns can access the helpline.
