Application Procedure for

Incoming 1st Year Students

An incoming First Year college student is an applicant who is either currently enrolled in Grade 12 Senior High School or has graduated from Senior High School and is applying in College for the first time. To apply as an incoming First Year College student, follow the steps below.

Eligibility Requirements

You should be any one of the following:

  • Graduates from public schools and private schools with approved K to 12 programs
  • All graduates of the previous four-year high school program both in public and private schools (DepEd Order No. 76, s. 2010)
  • ALS Accreditation and Equivalency Test Passer 
  • Philippine Educational Placement Test
  • Graduates from secondary education abroad with certification from the last school attended of the eligibility to college admissions
STEP 1: Apply online through the MC HEU Application Portal.

  • If you experience technical difficulty in creating an account, try opening the link in another web browser. For other concerns, you may send an email to coll-admission@mc.edu.ph.
STEP 2: Pay the application fee. Use the information in the billing invoice.

  • Include the following: (1) Applicant Name, (2) Application ID Number, and (3) clear copy of the deposit slip or confirmation email.
  • Use HEU_ APPL FEE _NAME OF STUDENT  as the subject of the email.

STEP 5: Submit your application requirements through your Application Portal.

Application Procedure for

TRANSFER/2nd DEGREE APPLICANTS

A transfer applicant has taken some units from another college or university and would like to pursue a College degree in Miriam College, or has completed a degree from another College or University and would like to pursue a second degree at MC. 

Eligibility Requirements

You must:

  1. have a satisfactory academic performance in High School
  2. have favorable recommendations from your previous school prior to application to Miriam College
  3. have not been classified as incoming junior or senior upon evaluation by the Registrar to qualify for at least five (5) semesters residence at Miriam College prior to graduation
STEP 1: Apply online through the MC HEU Application Portal.

STEP 2: Pay the application fee using the reference number indicated in the billing invoice.

Application Procedure for

Foreign Students

Non-Filipino citizens including Filipino-born-and-naturalized American citizens who are applying for the first time in College are considered foreign applicants. Foreign students may apply as incoming First Year College students.

Foreign applicants who have taken units from another College or University may also apply and are considered foreign-transfer applicants.

Miriam College has exchange agreements with colleges and universities around the world. Most exchange students take our courses for one full semester or one academic year. Visit your school’s international linkages office to inquire if your school has an ongoing exchange program with Miriam College.

STEP 1: Apply online through the MC HEU Application Portal.

  • Application fee: One hundred dollars (U$100) or its equivalent in Philippine Peso

Notes:

The Secondary School Record (SSR) is different from Form 137. 

Applicants who are studying in or graduated from a high school outside the Philippines need to submit a copy of the Transcript of Records for evaluation purposes (to be accomplished by and emailed directly by the School Registrar). 

Upon acceptance to the college, the foreign applicant must submit the original copy of the Transcript of Records or Certified True Copy of High School grades duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Establishment located at the student’s country of origin or legal residence.

Notes:

Credit Card Payment

The school only accepts credit card payment thru BPI, BDO and METROBANK.

Credit card transactions are done on campus and requires a scheduled visit.

The Cashier’s Office will be open to process credit card payments every Tuesdays to Thursdays from 10AM to 2PM.
