What is MC100?

Miriam College celebrates MC100, commemorating 100 years of Maryknoll education in the Philippines with the theme, “Celebrating 100 years of Maryknoll education through Miriam College.”

Rooted in the legacy of the Maryknoll Sisters, MC100 honors a century of education grounded in excellence, leadership, service, and social responsibility. The celebration reflects on how generations of students, alumni, educators, and communities have been shaped by values-centered learning that continues to create meaningful impact in society.

The interwoven history of Maryknoll and Miriam College is reflected in the MC100 logo, inspired by the beginning of a woven tapestry. The design symbolizes stories, experiences, and generations connected through a shared legacy, revealing the institution’s storied past while shaping its future.

More than a celebration of history, MC100 reaffirms Miriam College’s commitment to nurturing learners, leaders, and changemakers who will continue to light the world through service and purpose.

TOGETHER, LET US CELEBRATE 100 YEARS OF MIRIAM COLLEGE.

Letters from the sisters

Written in letters. Lived in service. Carried across generations.

The documentary film “Letters from the Sisters” lovingly traces the journey of the Maryknoll Sisters from their first steps in the Philippines to the founding of Maryknoll College, now Miriam College. It honors 100 years of faith, service, and a mission carried forward through education and legacy.
